CLASSROOM RULES
I have five rules that students must follow in order to be successful in 7th grade language arts.
CLASS EXPECTATIONS
In order to learn and grow this year, I ask students practice five habits daily.
L - Listen and look to the teacher, the speaker, and your classmates.
E - Engage and participate in whole class discussions, note taking, and group work.
G - Generate and produce questions, ideas, and good, finished work.
I - Improve on your mistakes, vocabulary, mindset, and critical thinking skills.
T - Thrive by challenging yourself, going above and beyond, taking ownership, and learning from mistakes.

- Ask questions and make requests that are appropriate.
- Respect your classmates and teacher.
- Always come prepared.
- Practice civil discourse.
